Congratulations to our good friend Ruth Bloomfield who has been awarded Second Place in the Naturescapes Class at the prestigious Houston International Quilt Festival. Ruth's fantastic quilt is a confetti inspired jigsaw of the beautiful scenery of North Queensland where she lives.
Whilst on our recent Outback Tour some of the girls were lucky enough to have a sneak preview of this masterpiece before it was packed up and sent off to be judged.
Ruth will again be our tutor on the forthcoming tour of New Zealand in 2010 - so if you would like to join us please don't delay as places for this wonderful tour are filling fast.
