This is the sort of thing that makes travelling around the country so exciting. When I did a 2 day workshop in Port Hedland we were invited to stay with Barb and David. They were wonderful hosts! During dinner Barb and I got talking about where they lived before. When they told us they lived near Emerald at one time, we realised there were plenty of people we both knew. It really is a very small world. Then we discovered we both attended the Quilt Symposium in Armidale way back in 1988 -89. Barb shared with me a quilt she has been working on recently, that was inspired by one of the tutors back then and she's had it in her mind all these years.
