Two years ago Delma's son requested she make him a queen size quilt for his 40th birthday. He wanted a quilt inspired from the Bayeux Tapestry with Arthurian legends including King Arthur and Guinevere, jousting knight, castle, mythical creatures, and also angels and all to be in bright colours.
After a year of thinking about it, she came up with design and made it into a quilt. She had Kathy Adams of Koolkat Quilting professionally machine quilt it before handing it over to her son.
Unlike her son, Delma only had one request, and that was "don't wash it too often".
