The eagle-eyed amongst you will have spotted that the threads are not silver, they are in fact parchment coloured.
Yes, we're guilty of taking a little artistic license. Where 'Silver Threads and Golden Needles' will be familiar to a lot of us, 'Parchment Threads and Golden Needles' does not work at all.
In quilting, needles and threads go together like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Sure they're great on their own, but they're at their best when they work together.
