2012 has started with great excitement at Quilters World. As Pauline isn't travelling in January she's been busy designing and creating some scrumptious new quilts. She'll be presenting these tempting projects at workshops and in the Academy for those who want to learn from home.
Dresden Gone Crazy!
Joining two everlasting favourite techniques, Dresden Plate and Crazy Patch, Pauline created a quilt that is simplistic, yet stunning!
It uses a Quilt As You Go method, with the plates appliqued to a background block.
After creating something fresh from these traditional techniques, Pauline next went on to experiment with somethings a bit less conventional.
Trendy Tools & Techniques
As you can imagine, Pauline visits quite a few quilt shops on her travels around Australia. These delicious fabrics she couldn't resist and they're the inspiration for her next project.
Pauline has incorporated Texture Magic into the design and has been in her element stitching and creating with some new tools. You'll have to wait to see how this quilt and all the delightful elements come together.
